“DOING IT FOR OUR ANCESTORS”
ʔuuʔatumin yaqckʷiimitqin is the Nuu-chah-nulth word meaning “Doing it for our Ancestors.” Led by Tseshaht First Nation, this project works to heal and bring answers to those affected by the Alberni Indian Residential School.

ʔuuʔatumin yaqckʷiimitqin “Doing it for our ancestors” will do everything it can to get answers, create a safe space and change the narrative of where this location once stood.
